THE SERPENT ; an age-old symbol in jewellery, variously signifying royalty (in ancient Egypt), wisdom, good fortune, good health & healing (ancient Greece), sexuality & temptation (Christianity), & fertility (Vodou), & was imbued with the sentiment of undying, eternal love from the Romans to the Victorians, particularly in circular form as the tail-devouring 'Ouroboros'. /// Drawing on these disparate influences, our serpent pieces use graphic wedges of embossed leather, linked together to form an articulated body, decorated with delicate gold & silver plated diamonds.

LUCKY COINS ; A common amulet across many cultures, the wearing or carrying of gold coins is often thought to bring about good fortune. Our coin-laden range of earrings and necklaces are an unusual, soft, lightweight & quiet alternative to the traditional types. /// The coin designs incorporate motifs from the the Amulet and She’s My Witch collections - lucky horseshoes, the all seeing eye, the orouboros, sacred heart and rose, along with wishbones, clover, an ace of spades & a handsome black cat - all embossed onto smooth golden leather discs.

WINGED SCARAB; Worshipped in ancient Egypt as the god of dawn, the scarab beetle is still a widely used & loved charm symbolising renewal, a long life & good health. /// Our winged scarab range is influenced by the original Egyptian designs and their art deco revivals, but is given a modern graphic edge with the use of foil embossed leather shapes.

DIAMOND RUFF; Pointed objects in a number of forms, from simple triangles, to arrows, daggers, teeth & claws are common amulets to ward of evil & imbue the wearer with fearsome powers. Our Diamond dagger ruff is an interpretation of these beliefs, mixing tribal tooth necklaces with a flavour of circus magic.

A thematic continuation of the Amulet collection; exploring ancient symbols of protection, good fortune and devotion. She's My Witch draws on familiar motifs - from the iconic treasures of ancient Egypt & sentimental tokens of Victorian times to gypsy charms & tribal talismans.

Presented in luxurious lightweight leathers, these statement pieces strike a balance of bold graphic shapes and delicate detailing, with a playful flavour of superstition, black magic and mysticism.
